Red Mountain students often have little or no sustained success in the job market. Some have had brief forays into careers that were cut short because emotional issues or negative behavior hampered their performance. Our experienced staff members specialize in helping our students build confidence through success in the workplace.
Behavioral issues, poor attitude, time management issues, ADHD, trauma, depression, social anxiety, and substance abuse are all issues which can interfere with young adults successfully entering the workforce. At Red Mountain Sedona (RMS), we help our students overcome these obstacles and enjoy vocational success.
Each student is assigned an experienced case manager, who helps them navigate the logistical and emotional pitfalls that might otherwise make securing and keeping gainful employment impossible.

The fact that many of us have lived in the Sedona area for a decade or longer also means we are deeply connected in the business community. Sedona typically experiences a “labor shortage,” meaning the community has more available jobs than workers to fill them. This phenomenon, along with our expertise in job placement, makes Red Mountain an ideal place for young people to start experiencing real success at work.Knowing what it takes to succeed at work can only be fully appreciated by doing a real job. We are fortunate at RMS to have a network of local organizations that are ready and willing to assist our students in gaining this priceless experience. Along with our expert clinical team who can often nip potential work problems in the bud, this network makes for a potent recipe for work success.
