Registered Dietician

Malia Martin, MS, RD, brings more than four years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based nutrition counseling and education. She has specialized experience supporting individuals navigating eating disorders, diabetes, and complex relationships with food. Malia earned her Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University and her Master's degree from Iowa State University. Her clinical approach is rooted in Motivational Interviewing, emphasizing collaboration, autonomy, and meeting clients where they are in their unique process of growth and change.

A self-described "no-diet" dietitian, Malia practices from an All Foods Fit philosophy and is informed by Health at Every Size® (HAES®) principles. Rather than focusing on restrictive food rules or weight-based outcomes, she helps clients develop sustainable, individualized relationships with food that support their overall health, well-being, and long-term goals.

Malia is passionate about creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore their relationship with food and their bodies. She believes nutrition care works best as a collaborative partnership, with clients remaining in the driver's seat of their own journey. Viewing herself as a coach and guide, Malia helps individuals build confidence, navigate challenges, and work toward meaningful goals at a pace that feels right for them. She values each client's lived experience, preferences, and personal strengths, working together to create practical, sustainable approaches that support lasting growth and positive change.

In her spare time, Malia enjoys hiking, spending time with family and friends, being near the ocean, and reading.
