Primary Therapist

Brad Mattingly received his bachelor's degree in social science and masters degree in Sociology from Northern Arizona University.  He is a licensed independent addictions counselor.

Brad has extensive experience working with men and women in outpatient and inpatient treatment programs.  He has been a therapist for almost thirty years, a clinical supervisor, business owner, university faculty member, expert witness, author and has completed program evaluations of treatment programs.  Brad's clinical experience includes substance abuse, general mental health, conflict resolution, and trauma.  Therapeutic orientations include CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, MI, and EMDR.  His intention is to help students become their true self and work toward their full potential while working through life challenging situations.

As a younger man he completed the triple crown of XT mountain biking and climbed El Capitain and Half Dome in Yosemite Valley.  Brad continues to enjoy hiking, mtn biking, reading, travel, and socializing with friends.

He is happily married, has an adult daughter, and lives in Northern Arizona for over thirty years.

Current volunteer positions include Governing Board of Directors Member of Coconino County Victim Witness.
