Red Mountain Sedona helps young adults overcome emotional and/or behavioral challenges in order to gain the skills they need to live with joy, meaning and purpose. Our areas of specialty include:
We are DIFFERENT — with more community integration, more real-world tools, and more independence — but also lots of support! At Red Mountain Sedona, our students find the healing and tools they need to lead happier, healthier lives and achieve their goals. We believe in helping our students change….for good!
We provide an emotionally safe, supportive, inclusive environment where students can let their guards down to experience true healing. Our surroundings allow students to learn the benefits of being themselves and gain the strength to change. Our setting provides students the space to regulate and understand what’s going on internally with their mental health and well-being.
Josh and Maureen are uniquely qualified to support young adults through the combination of therapy, mindfulness, and the 12 steps because they know the benefits firsthand… and live those principles everyday.
A successful launch into adulthood requires an understanding of our needs, responsibilities, and goals. Learning how to get ourselves aligned in a healthy and productive way is part of the growth we encourage at Red Mountain. Through evidence-based and mindfulness practices and life skills / executive function programming, students discover their true potential and learn how to overcome their challenges.
Red Mountain Sedona is an independent living program designed to help young adults with behavioral and/or emotional challenges “launch” and transition into fulfilling and productive independent living.
We work with the mind, body and spirit using a multi-disciplinary approach of evidence-based therapies, community integration, mindfulness practices, educational and vocational training, life skills development, and cutting-edge executive function coaching.
We are a strengths-based, all-gender, inclusive community supporting young adults ages 18-28 who have had challenges gaining traction in life.
As they become more mindful of their patterns of thought and behavior, our students learn to effectively and sustainably make better choices.
Red Mountain Sedona helped our daughter find the right momentum to excel after graduating
The RMS staff gave me the support and mindfulness training I needed to find my center even in the post high school chaos.
As a result of his Red Mountain experience, our son has been able to work on his empathy and leadership skills for his new job.
At Red Mountain Sedona, we offer a unique and effective program that combines the power of wilderness therapy, mindfulness, and life skills coaching to help your teen transform their life.
Our program is designed to help your teen:
Our program is not a boot camp or a punishment. It is a supportive and nurturing environment where your teen will feel accepted, respected, and empowered.
We have a team of experienced and compassionate professionals who will guide your teen through every step of their journey. Our staff includes licensed therapists, certified coaches, mentors, teachers, and wilderness guides.
We also have a beautiful campus in the heart of Sedona, Arizona, where your teen will live in a comfortable and cozy home with other teens. They will have access to amenities such as Wi-Fi, computers, books, games, musical instruments, and art supplies.
Your teen will also participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking, yoga, and meditation. They will explore the stunning scenery and spiritual energy of Sedona, which is known as one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Our program is flexible and personalized to meet your teen’s needs and goals. We offer short-term and long-term options, ranging from 30 days to 12 months. We also provide academic support and credit recovery for your teen to continue their education while in our program.
We know that choosing a program for your teen is a big decision. That’s why we invite you to contact us today for a free consultation. We will answer all your questions and help you decide if Red Mountain Sedona is the right fit for your family.
