Matt Hart, BS
Director of Family Support and Programming
Matthew brings more than 20 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults and their families. He has served as CEO, Headmaster, Academic Director, Program Director, Teacher, Advisor, and Residential Staff member in both therapeutic and academic settings. In the classroom and in residential treatment programs, Matthew worked with a wide range of students with therapeutic needs and learning differences.
Prior to joining Red Mountain, Matthew was part of a well-known and respected educational consulting practice in the New England area. While he thoroughly enjoyed this work, he decided to leave the practice to work more closely within a program to support parents in their journey alongside their children.
Throughout his career he has been instrumental in the development of educational practices and methodologies that are student-centered and support both the therapeutic and academic growth of individual students. He accomplished this by serving the public school system on school boards at both the local and regional levels and in higher education as an Associate Director of Admissions for a small New England college.
Matthew resides in Vermont with his wife and visits Red Mountain frequently. He has three children of his own and personally understands the deep love parents have, as well as the tightrope parents walk to help support their children as they learn to launch themselves into their own life.
