Jennifer is a licensed therapist through the state of AZ. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Grand Canyon University, focusing on Addiction Counseling and Professional Counseling, respectively.

With over a decade of experience working in young adult residential treatment settings, Jennifer also draws upon her own experience with addiction and trauma to help facilitate healing and recovery with her students. Relating to her students, she says, is “One of the most powerful experiences you can have during therapy. It’s an honor and privilege to witness and relate to, not only the pain, but the growth of an individual”.

In addition to her scholastic studies, she holds certifications in EMDR and yoga therapy, and is trained in Depth Psychology as well as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction protocols. Jennifer possesses a deep knowledge and understanding of substance abuse, relational trauma, complex PTSD, love addiction, and codependency, which are her most passionate subjects. With a deep love for her work, her approach with her students is to support them in finding their authentic self and facilitate growth in their executive functioning skills to aid in their transition to a higher level of living.
