Gene L. Stevenson, MDiv
Academic Coordinator

Gene has been involved in higher education as a student, instructor, and/or administrator for much of his adult life. He received his Master of Divinity degree in 2011, did additional master’s level work at Yale Divinity School, and is currently working on his doctoral dissertation. Gene recently served as the Academic Dean and instructor at a local private college and also works as the Executive Director of an academic journal abstracting service.

Gene’s areas of emphasis include contextually sensitive education, holistic integration of skills & abilities for success, cross-cultural dynamics, and lifelong learning. He is a lifelong student and enjoys helping others identify their own strengths as students.

On his “off” hours, Gene enjoys reading, writing, watching movies, and exploring spirituality. He is committed to being a good husband to his wife, father to his children, and caretaker of the family dog and bunnies.
