Emily Ordover, BS
Health and Recovery Coach
Emily began her journey with Red Mountain as a student. After graduating from RMS, she worked at a women’s treatment center before returning to Red Mountain as a staff member in the Spring of 2016. Emily started in an administrative position and worked her way to the clinical team after spending years as a student mentor. Emily has a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Health and Wellness Coaching. Her experience working in the residential department at another program, paired with her studies in psychological sciences and health and wellness coaching, make her a perfect fit for her current role.
As the Health and Recovery coach, Emily provides one-on-one sessions to help students learn to live a life that is balanced, spiritually evolved, safe, and free of relapse behaviors surrounding substances and eating disorders. She also supports students as they work towards and reaching various goals, including nutritional (I.e. meal planning, meal prepping, shopping, information), stress management, and fitness goals. Lastly, Emily works with all students on the orientation phase of the program, helping them to integrate with their new surroundings.
In her leisure time, Emily loves to hike in Sedona, go on adventures with friends and loved ones, travel the country to see the band Phish, meditate, practice yoga, cook and listen to the Grateful Dead. She also loves to watch movies, and read. Emily loves animals, and enjoys playing with her Ragdoll kitten Luna.
